10th Platinum...

When trophies were announced for the PS3,  never thought I would be one for acquiring them. Yet here I stand on the verge of my tenth platinum, courtesy of MAG. All because of Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires, if not for DW6:E and its simple set of trophies (Although they were time consuming), I would not have gotten the taste of my first platinum and not have the urge to have more. By Far though, the MAG trophy set has consumed more than 140 hours (more than any other platinum attempt). I'll probably get it today. Woot!

Seem to be having a burst of enjoyment from the Quest Mode in Virtual Fighter 5, characters I'm using are El Blaze (lucha libre style FTW) and Eileen. With Eileen I'm a 6th Dan and the pressure to not lose is starting to get to me. They just keep getting tougher and tougher. 

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is almost out. About to go pre-order from Amazon immediately. Hopefully it sells past expectations (as it should!) and Sega would be awesome enough to produce a third iteration on the PS3 since the second one's on the PSP.

5th platinum

acquired yesterday courtesy of Assassin's Creed 2, though my 5th would have been Heavy Rain but suddenly the urge to play AC 2 took over and would you take a gander at that, a 5th platinum. Think today I'll work on Fat Princess and Heavy Rain trophies.

Also, my cousin got his first platinum. Courtesy of Modern Warfare 2. Looks like I was right, it feels DAMN good getting one. My cousin can attest to that.

Waiting on an order of Violin sheet music and a digital tone device.... thing for the violin. Still haven't practiced. Don't want to bother my neighbors with my bad playing. Hmm, thinking that when I get out (possibly?) of the Air Force I'll take the time to practice it. I've got plenty of years left, you know.

Also waiting for it to be 7:45 AM so i can head out to the gym for training with my flight... had a recall today at 6:45 AM and I was not pleased. Especially since all we did was go and they jotted our names down to ensure we went, I suppose. Meh.

My parents recently went to Mexico to celebrate my mom's birthday. I took the opportunity to kindly ask for some anime magazines from over there. They're my favorite, it's in Spanish, and they were the first magazines of Anime I've been buying. They got me six and all of them are in transit!

going to work tomorrow! After 8 months of training and waiting around. I finally get to do my actual job tomorrow. Finally... 12 hour days 5 days a weeks. Can't wait. Getting paid friday as well! Although I'm having issues saving. This last surge was unusual though, I spent around $6oo on family, not on me. Which felt great but I do hope that 90% spending ceases until at least August. Any other spending will contribute to munchies and stuff I need for my job. Well, hopefully since it's in writing this will come bec0me fact. Then again one look at past posts will reveal this does not happen often. Yet now I am 20 years old, perhaps it'll work this time.

Have not...

Recieved my game I ordered from Amazon yet... It was due yesterday and I can wait a tad more but what worries me is supposedly it's still in Kansas. The package arrived there the 2nd, it's now the 8th and when I checked the tracking info, it was still there. Relaxing with not a care in the world. Says it arrived there the 2nd. That's all.

Went to usps.com and put the tracking number in there and a glimmer of hope appeared. Apparently something happened on the 6th. Something along the lines of them recieving a electronic destination... thing. Hopefully this means in the coming days the package will get moving. I love amazon, I don't want this to ruin that. Although I will seriously hate the Kansas Post Office if more issues arrive.

is fantastic! Especially since I am limited to what I can buy here at Malmstrom AFB. Moreso the fact that I have no vehicle to go anywhere. Just ordered a game from amazon.com that I would have some embarassing qualms about buying it in public. That game being Dead or Alive: Paradise for PSP. I just had to buy for it being so bold.

I am also disatisfied that qwest only supports 1.5 Mbps here in my area. Hopefully they move on up in speed ASAP, I'll upgrade my service in a heartbeat. Already gave them information to notify when the speed options go up. Man, it better be pronto.

Platinum Trophy! Got it from Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires. The next closest platinum would have to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Just need to find the intel items and in special ops kill 4 in a row while downed then I'll have TWO platinum trophies. Next after that would have to be Tekken 6. Simply have to win online ranked match and player match, play 30 online matches and defeat Nancy. Other possible platinum trophies are quite far off.

Unexpectedly...

played a decent amount of Killzone 2 today. Not online but the single player. Strived to find all the intel and destroy all the Helghast symbols. I did these two tasks with the help of a walkthrough and feel quite good. On the matter of Killzone 2, I sincerely do not enjoy Rico's character. He seriously failed when he killed that ISA troop (looked that way).

HOME! Rio Rancho, New Mexico is oh so close! Leaving Lackland AFB tomorrow at around 6:30 AM. Going to Montana the following friday for my new base Malmstrom AFB. Woo! My operational air force is almost starting. 6 months I've been in training, passed BMT and now Tech School. Life's good.

Sudden Urge

To watch Battle Royale. Went to Barnes and Nobles yesterday and found the Battle Royale Novel. Epic Find! Could'nt find Artemis fowl, my original goal. Meh.

Decided not to get the Sony Headphones since I still have working ones that cover my whole ear. Until those pass on, theres no reason to get new headphones.

Also realized that theres E-books, going to look for Artemis Fowl books 4-6 there.
